A Note from Julie: The Story of Jade Street Market

 I remember the exact moment Jade Street Market was born. I was having one of those days—three kids, a mountain of laundry, work deadlines, and dinner was nowhere close to being on the table. As I rushed through the house, something caught my eye. It was this ridiculous mug I’d been given years ago with a quote that made me laugh every time I saw it. I stopped, almost without realizing it, and took a breath.

That tiny pause—holding the mug, reading those words—it was the first time all day that I felt like everything was going to be okay. It wasn’t magic, but it was enough to remind me to slow down and enjoy the moment, even in the chaos.

That’s when I realized that I wanted to create & share moments like that—those glimmers of happiness that sneak up on you when you need them the most. So that is the inspiration behind each design—something to make you pause, smile, and remember all is well—even when it feels like it’s not. The best part? You can take it with you and spread the joy to everyone you encounter.
